Our restaurant’s full menu specializes in seafood, steaks and authentic German cuisine. The raw bar, located at the dock, serves the freshest seafood selections on weekends. It’s all right here. We have everything from watersports to relaxation to entertainment. Private Beach/Pool Very seldom you find beaches in the Keys where you can actually go into the water. Here at  Gilbert's Resort you can relax at our beach, play in the sand, and walk or swim in the water.  Little tiki huts provide the perfect shade from a day in the sun. You can also take a swim in  our pool, while listening to live music. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine on a moonlit evening on the roof top deck. *All the houseboats have a roof top deck and a porch to relax on* Included: Living Room  TV, cable, Futon,  AM/FM Radio Kitchen  (Galley) includes Toaster oven, sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, Blender as well as kitchenware. All guests must register and PAY IN FULL prior to staying on the boat. There will be NO REFUNDS for shortened stay unless arrangements have been made with us prior to your arrival. SMOKING inside the boats is prohibited and doing so will result in loss of your reservation/security deposit. There will be a $20.00 fee to replace lost boat keys. CHECK-IN time is 3:00pm or later. CHECK-OUT time is 12pm. If you need other arrangements, please call and we will try to accommodate your needs. There is a $35 Cleaning Fee which covers standard cleaning.  Any cleaning that goes above and beyond standard cleaning will be billed at an hourly rate and be deducted from the security deposit. Cancellation Policy: BEFORE 30 DAYS of your stay your reservation/security deposit will be refunded less $50 fee. LESS THAN 30 DAYS of your stay will result in a forfeit of your reservation/security deposit. Hurricane Policy: If you are checked-in and staying on a boat and have to leave due to a mandatory hurricane evacuation, you will only be charged for the nights you were able to stay. If you choose to cancel because the possibility exists, the above cancellation policy will be in effect. Pet Policy: No pets unless prior approval and an additional fee. If pet is NOT approved at time of reservation and one stays it may result in loss of your security deposit as well as rental fee. Personal Items: We will not be responsible for lost or damaged items brought on houseboats by renters.  Please remember it is a marine environment and we recommend keeping electronics protected at all times.
